Walmart’s Scintilla In-Store API portfolio provides near real-time visibility into store-level inventory and inventory movements as well as the capability to send data to Walmart to help suppliers reduce out-of-stocks, improve sales performance, and operate more closely with Walmart store processes.

Access to Scintilla In-Store APIs is available to eligible Supplier and Vendor organizations. Item-level visibility is determined by GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) ownership, based on the supplier’s GLN (Global Location Number)-to-GTIN mapping. Charter Clients receive near real-time data for only the items they own.

Note: Volt APIs are a legacy term that may still be present in certain documentation as we work to provide ongoing improvements to this API portfolio.
